A Workshop led by Alys Murray
Now, more than ever, writers across mediums, genres, and formats are being asked to write ad-supported content. Whether you're penning a cozy Christmas Movie for Hallmark, a horror movie for Tubi, a television show with traditional commercial breaks, vertical shorts for a streaming app, or serialized stories on fiction writing apps, learning the fundamentals of ad-supported storytelling is crucial for today's professional writer. In this workshop, you'll learn about the buyers in these markets, their expectations and content needs, as well as how to select, structure, and execute your story within their parameters - all while maximizing consumer retention and engagement.
This event is free and open to the community. No RSVP necessary.
