Since 2017, the New Orleans Writers Workshop has been helping writers of all levels achieve their creative goals. We offer affordable classes, both in-person and online, led by experienced, published writers. For those seeking individualized help, we also offer manuscript editing and coaching. We are a 100 percent locally run nonprofit.

A Studio in the Woods, located in eight forested acres on the Mississippi River in Bulbancha/New Orleans, is dedicated to forest preservation, science-inspired art engagement, and providing a peaceful retreat for artists and scholars who are tackling the challenging issues of our time with power and imagination.
